Description:
Sunflowers belong to the group of fast growing plants. They reach a height of two to three meters within six months. If the sunflower is fertilized, the seeds start to grow. In most areas of cultivation, harvesting takes place between September and October and is done with combine harvesters. Sunflower seeds are a natural source for magnesium, protein, vitamin B1 and unsaturated fatty acids.
Uses:
Sunflower seeds are an ingredient for bread, rolls, salads, soups and granola.
